Meet Pastor Joshua and Herena Eom

At Flat Rock, we’re blessed to be led by Pastor Joshua Eom and his wife, Herena—a devoted team whose journey of faith began near Seoul, South Korea and continues to inspire our community today.

Joshua holds a Doctorate in Engineering from Seoul National University and previously served as a professor and government official in Korea. After moving to the United States in 2003, he followed a call to ministry, completing his theological training in 2006. Herena, deeply grounded in the Protestant tradition, brings a strong spiritual foundation and a heart for connection.

Together, they are guided by Scripture and a shared belief in the importance of walking in faith as a couple. Whether in worship, outreach, or everyday encouragement, Joshua and Herena serve side by side—faithful partners in ministry and in life.
